Turbidity
The removal of non-dissolved substances is often the most important goal of drinking water treatment, also because the consumer uses turbidity as criterium to judge the drinking water quality. Therefore, the i::scan can be used by drinking water utilities for monitoring turbidity down to the lowest concentration levels. Turbidity is also a key parameter in quality monitoring for the finished water and the natural waters used as source for drinking water production, as well as for waters used for other purposes such as energy production or cooling. In natural waters the turbidity is a parameter that allows the early detection of circumstances that will prohibit economical usage as well as of conditions that will damage the ecosystem.
